Only Raw Records

Only Raw Records is the record label Dre’Quan Priest and Boobie Ike run together in Vice City, confirmed in GTA VI’s official material.

For Boobie, the club funds the studio: “the club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all.” For Dre’Quan, more hustler than gangster, the label is a lifelong goal, and the dancers at the Jack of Hearts are his focus group: “if the record’s a hit, DJs gonna be spinnin’ it.”

With Real Dimez, the rap duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, now signed, both are chasing the breakout hit that takes them from the local circuit to the Vice City scene.

The label’s artists

The signing Rockstar talks about is Real Dimez, the duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy: “one hit away from fame”, according to Dre’Quan Priest’s profile. Boobie Ike and Priest only need one hit to establish the label.

Why it matters in Vice City

The label ties together three things: the economics of the Jack of Hearts, Boobie Ike’s studio and the Vice City scene. It also connects to GTA VI’s album, although Rockstar has not said the label appears on it.

What we don’t know

No mission or radio station tied to the label has been confirmed, nor that its music plays in the game.
