Which platforms are confirmed for GTA VI?
The official launch is announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here is what is confirmed and what is not.
What is confirmed about platforms
Rockstar lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the platforms named in the available official information.
The linked official source does not announce a PC version, so Vicepedia does not assign a date or window to a possible computer release. Store listings, leaks and community expectations are not treated as confirmation.
This article will be updated if Rockstar expands the platform list. Until then, search results keep official information separate from theories and rumors.
Where and when
GTA VI launches on 19 November 2026. Pre-orders have been open since 25 June 2026 on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox store. There is no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version: the game is built for the current generation.
What has not been announced
- PC: no version has been announced. At the September shareholder meeting, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said the company’s strategy is to publish on any platform with a significant audience and that PC is increasingly important to it. That is not an announcement of GTA VI on PC. More detail in the GTA VI on PC entry.
- Nintendo Switch 2: neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has spoken about GTA VI on that console.
