The Miami Heat will become "Vice City" for one night on November 18, the eve of GTA VI's launch
The Heat announced "A Night in Vice City" against the Bucks, with a new court and uniform, an ESPN broadcast and themed merchandise.
The Miami Heat announced a GTA VI themed night on Friday. On November 18, one day before the game launches, the team will play the Milwaukee Bucks as “Vice City”.
What was announced
According to the Heat’s official post, quoted by Kotaku, “for one night only, the HEAT trade Miami for Vice City”. They will play on a “never-before-seen court” in a new uniform. The game is broadcast live on ESPN. Bleacher Report and Local 10 confirm the date and the event name, “A Night in Vice City”.
The event website promises in-arena activities, exclusive merchandise and more. The Heat’s store already sells GTA VI themed clothing, according to Kotaku.
Context
This is the next step of a campaign already visible in Miami: the “Welcome to Vice City” sign over the Kaseya Center and its reported cost. The sources we checked do not detail the cost of tonight’s deal or what each side contributes, and Vicepedia does not treat it as known.
We could not open the Heat’s original post or the event website, and rely on the press cited.

The city of neon and excess returns as Leonida's criminal capital: luxury beaches, characterful neighborhoods and a booming music scene.
Heat system and wanted level
The Heat meter tracks everything the police know about you - footage, clothing, weapons, car - and every clue can be erased. Wanted stars now come in colours with meaning.
