Theory: when will we see the next GTA VI video?
Our own analysis of Rockstar's publishing cadence and what could still be shown before the November 19 launch.
This is an editorial theory, not confirmed information. Rockstar has not announced any further videos after An Extended Look.
The pattern so far: trailer 1 in December 2023, trailer 2 in May 2025 and the extended video in August 2026, three months before launch. Following that cadence, one final marketing piece (a launch trailer) would fit the weeks before November 19.
We will treat any specific date circulating without an official source as a rumor, and label it as such.
What we know and what we do not
Confirmed: the gaps between big pieces have been long, about 17 months between trailer 1 and 2 and about 15 between trailer 2 and the extended video. Price and editions were already announced with the 25 June 2026 pre-orders ($79.99 standard and $99.99 Ultimate), so that item is no longer left to show.
What is new is that Rockstar has used its website, not a video, for the latest news: the radio stations, the album songs and the store collection. That suggests the marketing calendar can alternate videos and web content, so a new video is not the only signal worth watching.
What would change this theory
An official Rockstar announcement, whether a dated video or a newswire post, replaces any calculation. Until one exists, anything circulating about specific dates is speculation. We follow the official channel and will update this piece when there is something verifiable.
