Cal Hampton
Jason's friend and an associate of Brian's. A self-confessed paranoid: he feels safest at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms.
Cal Hampton is Jason Duval’s friend and an associate of Brian Heder, according to the profile Rockstar publishes on GTA VI’s official site.
Who he is
Rockstar describes someone who feels safest at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. The profile sums him up with a question: “What if everything on the internet was true?”
Tone of the character
The official text places him at “the low tide of America”, and happy there: casual paranoia that loves company. The lines in the profile video revolve around that conspiratorial outlook, such as there being “way too many birds flying around in perfect formation”.
Relationship with Jason
Cal is Jason’s friend, but according to Rockstar Jason has bigger plans. Rockstar has not detailed what role Cal will have in the story or where exactly he lives, so we do not treat those as known.
