Jason Duval is one of the two playable protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI. According to his official profile, he grew up around grifters and crooks, tried to straighten out with a stint in the Army and ended up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners.

Meeting Lucia Caminos might be his chance to try something new, or to sink for good.
What his official profile says

According to the profile, it might be time to try something new.
Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to happen to him, and Jason knows how he would like it to turn out, but right now it is hard to tell.
