GTA VI languages: the official store's 13 options
The official store lists 13 language options, including Spanish for Mexico and Spain, and Brazilian Portuguese. It does not separate voice acting, subtitles and interface support.
The official Rockstar Store lists 13 language options for GTA VI under “Supported Languages”. Regional variants are separate entries: combining the two Spanish options into one while retaining the count of thirteen would misrepresent the list.
The official store list
- English
- French
- Italian
- German
- Russian
- Japanese
- Polish
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- Spanish (Mexico)
- Spanish (Spain)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
These are the labels on the listing checked on October 7, 2026. They replace this page’s earlier statement that an official list had not yet been published.
Two Spanish options
Rockstar lists Spanish for Mexico and Spain separately. The page establishes that both are supported language options, but does not explain the differences between their translations or how players will select a language in the game.
Portuguese is specifically labeled for Brazil. That entry is not a promise of another regional variant absent from the list.
Language support is not a dubbing announcement
The section has no separate columns for spoken dialogue, subtitles and interface text. It does not confirm a Spanish dub on its own, nor does it establish which elements are translated for each language. It also does not explain how changing languages after starting a save will work.
Take-Two’s comments
GTAVice.net reports that Strauss Zelnick described thirteen initial languages at September’s shareholder meeting and left the possibility of more open. That is a secondary source for his comments, not a committed release date for additional translations.

Rockstar's official store lists Spanish for Mexico and Spain separately. The section does not specify which elements will be dubbed or subtitled.
