Rockstar Games confirms the final date for Grand Theft Auto VI: November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar Games has locked in Grand Theft Auto VI’s definitive date: November 19, 2026. The announcement was published on November 6, 2025 on its official Newswire and replaces the previous date, May 26, 2026, which had itself replaced the original fall 2025 window.
It is the game’s second delay. The first came alongside trailer 2, when the fall 2025 window turned into a concrete date: May 26, 2026. Six months later, Rockstar moved that date another six months, to November 19, 2026, and since then both the studio and Take-Two have publicly restated their commitment to it at every earnings call and every appearance.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is the most concrete date Rockstar has given so far.
