Leonida
The fictional state where GTA VI takes place, the game's stand-in for Florida: from the beaches of Vice City to the Grassrivers swamps and the southern keys.
Leonida is the US state where Grand Theft Auto VI takes place and the game’s fictional stand-in for Florida. It is the first time the series has set its story across an entire state rather than a single city and its surroundings.
The official material tours it from north to south: Vice City and its beaches, the Grassrivers swamps, the fishing docks of Port Gellhorn, the Mount Kalaga highlands, the industry of Ambrosia and the Leonida Keys in the south, the island chain that closes the map.
When Jason and Lucia’s easy score goes wrong, the conspiracy they get pulled into stretches across the whole state, and that journey through Leonida is what drives the game’s story.
